5 Things we Learnt from Manchester United vs West Brom - by Aamir Khan (@aamir_khan82)

United successfully able to maintain Seven point lead over City. Thanks to own goal of and then RVP late strike.

1. SAF Gamble
Sir Alex came with different team by introducing Kagawa as AMF and Welbeck as standalone striker. It was not easy to trust on these guys where one came after a long injury whereas otherone didn't started as first choice striker in most United games this season but today's game proved SAF can gamble.
2. "Vidic & Evans" new pair of United Defence
United struggled throughout this season due to Vidic injury whereas due of Rio and Evans didn't have any massive impact in many games. Today's game proved to be a new defensive due in the shape of Vidic and Evans which will surely help United in second half of this season.
3. RVP factor
RVP who just came in the second half and played less than 30 minutes proved his worth again on the pitch. Wouldn't be wrong to say RVP has not won his fansbase in Manchester United only but his role & charactor as a striker as well as team player is more influential.
4. Foster's Uprising:
Foster who was forced to sell by United due to his lack of consistency looks quite different stopper. He made some world class saves in today's game and definitely knocking door for English team call up.
5. Carrick heart of United Midfield
Michael Carrick who rarely acclaimed by many United fans in past consistently playing his role. We've seen creative Carrick which has helped United in many games this season. If he continues to perform with same passion, United will rock on.
