Well here it is my friends, the phrase coined by Fergie to describe the time of the year were historically United have become strong while there rivals crash under the pressure of the premier league title race. And while most will agree that we have the easier fixtures, and some will agree that United might just get their noses in front come derby day, almost everyone looks at me in amazement when I say I believe we can be 3-5 points clear come that day. I'm serious, let's just look at those fixtures and see.

Let's first look at our fixtures first. Having just won vs West Brom In the next month we have Fulham at Old Trafford. We travel to Molineux, and Ewood. Now for those four games we would be bitterly disappointed not to pick up a total of 12 points. That is followed by 3 home games against QPR, Villa and Everton with one trip to the DW. While again all winnable games say we draw one, just because it's not often you string so many wins together, that would be a realistic total of 22 points from a possible 24 and leave us on 86 points. A huge total, possibly even a title winning total. But let's see....

Now let's take a look at citeh's fixtures coming up, where they have just travelled to a tricky Euro away in Wales to face Swansea and lost. Add to that a trip to Stoke which is never easy. While visiting the Empty-had are Chelsea and in form Sunderland. Add to these tough games the fact Kompany may miss them. I do not expect them to win more than two of these games. I'd give them a maximum total of 8 from 12 there. They follow these with a trip to the Emerates were a loss could hopefully come. I would then expect them to win their next 3 at home to West Brom before visits to Carrow road and Molineux. That would give them a total of 17 points from a possible 24 and on a total of 83 points, three points behind the projected United total.

Now we all know about the surprises this league can throw up, but it could just as easily happen to them than us!

So hopefully you can read this, I think you might now just agree with my prediction too, and it can lift the gloom of Thursday and put a smile back on those beautiful faces!
